Connect your own AI assistant

Your own AI tools — Claude Code, Cursor, or any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — can read your organization's projects, applications and deployments through this platform, using the same read-only tools as the Org Agent. It requires the AI assistant on your plan.

  1. Open Settings → AI and, under Connect your AI assistant, click Create token. The token is shown once; copy it now.

  2. Add this platform to your client with the MCP URL and token shown there. The server name is yours to choose — platform below. For Claude Code:

    claude mcp add --transport http platform https://<your-console-domain>/api/ai/agent-mcp --header "x-api-key: <token>"

    For Cursor, in .cursor/mcp.json:

    { "mcpServers": { "platform": { "url": "https://<your-console-domain>/api/ai/agent-mcp", "headers": { "x-api-key": "<token>" } } } }
  3. Ask your assistant things like "what's deployed in my organization?" or "why did my app's last deploy fail?".

What the token can and can't do:

  • Read only. It lists projects, reads an application's status and lists its deployments. It cannot change anything and cannot use the rest of the platform API.
  • Works outside MCP too. The same token authenticates the Public API, so scripts and CI jobs can read the same things over plain HTTP.
  • Only what you can see. Owners and admins see every project; a member sees only the projects and services they have been given access to.
  • One per person, per organization. Creating a new token replaces the old one; Revoke disables it immediately.

Check what a token can see

  1. Create a token, connect your client as above, and ask it to list my projects. It should list your organization's projects.
  2. To see a member's narrower view, an owner or admin opens Settings → Users, clicks Add Permissions on that member, and in its Projects section, tick only some projects, and the services inside them that the member should reach.
  3. Sign in as that member, create their own token under Settings → AI, connect it, and list projects again. Only the ticked projects appear, and asking about an application outside them returns Application not found.
  4. Click Revoke when you're done; the client loses access immediately.
